What Is a Mental Health Evaluation?
A mental health evaluation provides insight into how a person feels, thinks, reasons, and remembers.
Through a structured interview and standardized screening tools, the evaluation helps identify or rule out diagnosable mental health conditions in accordance with the DSM-5 (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition).
